David has been a member of the Group Secretariat since October 2011 following over 20 years in the UK government, including representing the UK at the ILO, IMO, the IOPC Funds and European Union/EMSA. David has responsibility for, amongst others, the Group’s Sanctions, Confirmation of Entry, Maritime Security and Compulsory Insurance Committees as well as covering matters relating to the ILO Maritime Labour Convention. David is the Group’s designated representative at IMO.
