I currently work as a Senior Claims Manager at The London P&I Club in Hong Kong.
Studying P&I Qualification (P&IQ) has been a transformative experience for me both professionally and personally. As someone who transitioned from being at sea as navigating officer to working in the Protection and Indemnity (P&I) industry, in addition to my Master’s, I sought a qualification that would deepen my understanding of the complexities of the field, and the P&IQ exceeded my expectations.
The blend of academic knowledge and practical application provided me with tools and insights that I was able to bring directly into my work. Collectively I consider the seven P&IQ modules as the “P&I Bible”, which I am very certain I will be referring over and again in the future for my work.
Completing seven modules and obtaining the P&IQ advanced certificate has not only enhanced my skills but has also significantly elevated my credibility in the industry. I now approach my role with a renewed sense of confidence to make informed decisions that benefit my organization and our clients
I wholeheartedly recommend the P&IQ to anyone serious about advancing their career in the P&I sector. It is an investment that yields invaluable returns, and I am proud to now be part of this distinguished community of professionals.
